Experience

 

Dave has been with Lane Engineers, Inc. since August 1990.  He performs structural calculations on buildings and other structures of wood, steel, masonry, concrete and reinforced plastic for commercial, residential, educational, institutional and industrial uses. 

 

He prepares working plans and specifications for both public and private sector clients.  As a project manager Dave supervises the work of other engineers and project draftsmen within the Structural Department. 

 

Dave also provides plan checking services for local municipalities to determine building compliance with life safety, accessibility and structural requirements of current Codes.  Dave has been active in the investigation of building failures and damaged structures during his professional career.  He has completed comprehensive reports on the findings and conclusions of these investigations and has proposed retrofit solutions.
